あんみつ (Anmitsu) is a classic Japanese dessert consisting of Kanten Jelly, Shiratama mochi, adzuki bean, fruit and dark sugar cane syrup. We have topped ours with a scoop of matcha ice cream and replaced the classic Japanese dark sugar cane syrup with Gula Melaka. This is a healthy alternative to most desserts as it is rich in fibre. Kanten Jelly in particular is made up of 80% dietary fibre and is very low in calories.
